We now own 3 of these and recommend them. After unsuccessfully using the wooden Honey Can Do drying racks (two broke in the same place after 2 months of use each) Honey-Can-Do Wooden Clothes Drying Rack I contacted the Honey Can Do company and they recommended this metal rack. They were absolutely correct, this rack is 100% more sturdy than the wooden one, and can hold a lot of clothes. It has 11 horizontal bars for drying although the bottom one would only work for really small clothes (e.g. socks and baby clothes). We air dry so many of our clothes so we're excited to find such a sturdy rack with large capacity. They fold up nicely just like the wooden racks. Unlike the wooden ones, we had to assemble these (which took less than 5 minutes max). I really loved the instructions for assembly, they were written in a conversational tone (such as "Let's start at the bottom...").

I bought this dryer one month ago (January 2009) and am very happy with it. It's sturdy, has plenty of space for your clothes and was very easy to assemble. However, when I went back just a few weeks later to buy one for my sister, the price had gone from $19.99 to $26.06. Now, a week later, the price has gone up to $27+. What's going on? If these people are going to continually raise their price, I'm going to look around at other brands.
